Planet Barbecue: Raichlen offers up one more great guide for the grill

Steven Raichlen's business card says "Writer." That was the first thing I noticed when the grilling authority, instructor, television personality and all around barbecue guru handed me his card. "Writer." It turns out that for all the notoriety that Raichlen has amassed for mastering a world's worth of grilling and barbecuing techniques, he's basically a writer. Always has been, in fact. "I'm not a chef or a pit master. I'm not qualified to be. But I am a writer," he told me after a recent talk he gave at the Smithsonian.
